Sedona, Arizona was the perfect backdrop for this shoot, a picturesque canvas painted with multi-colored leaves and gorgeous red rock mountains.
Surrounded by so much natural beauty, one would be crazy not to be inspired!
I’m a Cali girl who loves warm weather, but Fall is definitely my favorite style season because I get to break out my fab hats, boots and scarves. I tend to lean more towards earth tones during the Fall because of mother nature’s inspiration.

Earthy shades are complimentary on all skin tones because they warm up versus wash out. Suede skirts in these shades have also been trending this season, and can be rocked well into Winter by adding leggings or tights.
My paternal grandmother’s family immigrated from Barbados and my maternal grandfather’s from Jamaica, so I have an inherent love for the islands and warm weather.
Naturally, most of my vacations have been spent on islands including my wedding in Saint Lucia. Now that my daughter is older our family is road tripping more, and I’m gaining a new appreciation for the adventure and beauty found in cold weather destinations.
Even though the weather in Sedona was chilly the sun was shining brightly, so warm accessories were all I needed to keep me cozy and chic.
