Shopping has seriously evolved, thanks to the internet. Not only has it made “retail therapy” more convenient, but price savvy too. Nowadays all you have to do is google a promo code for the store you’re shopping at and most likely you’ll find one that will save you some money. Many of the popular franchises like H&M have been forced to compete with cyber shops, and now have their own websites that sell most of the same stuff stocked in their stores. You can also usually find shipping and other seasonal discounts on their sites too.

Although I am a big online shopper, I still enjoy In-store retail therapy and even prefer it over internet shopping whenever there’s a time constraint for myself, or for a client’s shoot/event. The best thing about In-store shopping is getting some “Me-time” in or spending quality time with friends & family. It’s fun to try clothes on and see how they look on me before I purchase them too.
Leaving out of the store with my fab finds versus waiting on an order is definitely a perk…I mean, who doesn’t like instant gratification?
Finding more promotional savings and unique fashions are two big advantages of shopping online. You can even get cash back for purchases you make on tons of popular websites at www.ebates.com.
The key to becoming a savvy online shopper is knowing your sizes. There’s nothing more annoying than purchasing something online that you’re really excited about, and once you get it…it doesn’t fit and has to be sent back. This is why I recommend visiting an alterations store to get your measurements, which can also help you get a better understanding of online sizing charts.
Trust me, knowing your sizes/measurements makes all the difference and will make your online shopping experience a lot more enjoyable…especially once your order arrives.
Happy Shopping!
