Top sites for your mini trendsetters!

Our children are a representation of us and as a proud fashionista, I can say that my kids are representing well. They are definitely mini trendsetters who have developed a style all their own. My eight year old is very decisive with his wardrobe and is a natural when it comes to style, he has a good eye for things that look good on me too. He plays basketball everyday so his go-to style is sporty.

My little girl is a treat to dress because it’s like dressing a living doll, although she’s hit that age where she’s pretty decisive about what she wants to wear too. We have now become co-stylists where she “allows” me to give suggestions, but ultimately the final decision is hers. She’s a chip off the old block, so her fashion sense is pretty spot on.

Active toys will have kids playing inside and out.

As a style savvy parent, I search far and wide for clothing stores and websites that carry trendy, quality clothing for less.

Here are my top five stores for great finds in-store and online:

The Children’s Place-Super cute clothes, best overall prices. I can always find some really cool play clothes and shoes for my kids here. Another bonus is that have weekly sales on their seasonal fashions. They have a great selection of play, sleep and dress clothes/shoes for both boys and girls. I like to stock up on the basics like socks, undies and pajamas here too.

H & M – The go-to store for hip and trendy fashion at great prices, plus you can find one of their stores in almost every mall. My kids like to pick out their own faves for auditions and birthday parties here. Their style is definitely hip, so it’s fun to see what they choose. You can find even more cool styes on their website.

Janie and Jack – If you’re looking for more upscale kids fashion this is the place. Their prices are slightly higher because their styles are more unique. I like to shop here when I need to style my little clients for a shoot because the clothes are adorable on camera.

Target – Target is teaming up with more designers every day, and have upgraded their styles for women, men and kids. I tend to buy more clothes for my daughter here than anyone else in my family. Their boy’s selection has gotten better, so I can find some gems here and there too. They are also great for everyday school basics.

Family Headshots

Gymboree – The great thing about this store is that you can find adorable clothes from trendy to sporty to everyday casual at great prices. They have sales and online discount promo codes daily too.

  1. I love old navy, childrens place, h&m and target! For my 2 year old son. I have not tried zulily, but its worth a try. I feel its so hard to shop for boys I don’t want my son to look like a lil thug. I love the preppy look I think its adorable.
